DR. TOM GALE
Chemistry Teacher
Dr. Tom Gale lectures chemistry in the UK at the historic U.O.G Medway campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent, focusing on organic chemistry and peptide chemistry research. He completed his bachelors and masters degrees at Cardiff University and then completed his PhD. on the mode of action of glycopeptide antibiotics at Downing College at the University of Cambridge. He has also previously used to run University College London (UCL)’s science foundation programme overseas.
DR. RAMY ABOUSHELBAYA
Physics & Mathematics Teacher
Dr Ramy Aboushelbaya is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the historic Oxford University in the United Kingdom. His research is primarily centred on studying laser-plasma interactions using Laguerre-Gaussian and Bessel modes. Ramy graduated from the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris with a Bachelors in Fundamental Physics and then a Masters in Quantum Physics. He then went on to do his PhD in Atomic and Laser Physics at Oxford university.
DR. CHRIS LILLIG
Biology Teacher
Dr. Chris Lillig has postdoctoral lecturing qualifications in the fields of cell biology, medical biochemistry and molecular biology and he has taught in various schools and universities throughout Germany. He graduated in biology (biochemistry and biophysics) and received PhDs in both natural sciences and medical sciences. His research focuses on the regulation of cell functions through post-translational modifications of proteins.
DR. ALON IKAN
Anatomy Teacher
Dr. Alon Ikan is a lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology, as well as the Deputy Director of Tel Aviv Medical College in Israel. He has a Bachelor’s degree in both Life Sciences and Medical Sciences. He also has an MD degree from the Technion Institute in Israel and he also practices as a resident doctor, specialising in internal medicine.
DR. SHAHAR GEVA
CEO & Academy Manager
Dr. Shahar Geva has been the director of the Overseas Medical Education Network since 2010. He has been instrumental in the training of thousands of students in preparation for medical school entry exams from all over the world. He successfully completed his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Debrecen in Hungary and he also practices as a resident doctor.
NICK GATT
Operations & Admissions Manager
Nick is the Operations Manager for London Medical Academy and looks after the day to day running of the school. Nick also acts as a Higher Education Consultant and assists students with their applications and placement to medical universities in Europe. Nick has many years experience in the education sector, helping students and graduates follow their chosen career paths in different fields.
NICLAS GESING
Physics & Mathematics Teacher
Niclas is a researcher in Physics at the University of Bielefeld in Germany, researching an alternative theory of gravity Niclas has completed Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in Physics and Maths, from the University of Bielefeld. As a teacher, Niclas has held tutorials in “Elementary particle physics”, “Theoretical physics” and “General relativity”.
NICO ZEITTER
Chemistry Teacher
Nico Zeitter is a PhD researcher in Organic Chemistry at the Ruprecht-Karls-University In Germany, researching the synthesis and characteristics of organic molecules with electronic features. Nico has completed a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, both from the University Of Heidelberg. As a teacher, Niclas has held tutorials in “NMR spectroscopy” for students at bachelor level studies.
